2026 Summer Academies Sponsorship Details

WHY SPONSOR INGENUITY’S

2026 SUMMER ACADEMIES?

Ingenuity is redesigning its 2026 summer programming for students in grades 8–12 to ignite curiosity, cultivate leadership, and expand access to immersive STEM experiences. These Summer Academies are intentionally structured to meet students at every stage of their journey, including:

  • A new 4-day Rising 8th Grade Academy
  • A 3-day Entering 9th Grade Academy
  • A 2-day Rising 10th Grade Experience
  • A 3-day Rising Junior STEM Leadership Summit
  • College essay writing workshops for rising Ingenuity seniors

Together, these experiences will prepare the next generation of STEM leaders through advanced enrichment, mentorship, and real-world exposure.

For the past four years, federal recovery funds have helped us build and sustain this momentum. Now, as those resources sunset, we turn to our community to help carry this work forward. With your partnership, Ingenuity can continue to offer these expanded and transformational summer programs at no cost to nearly 300 students in 2026.

Commitment Level 

$500 – SUMMER ACADEMIES SPONSOR

  • Your sponsorship offsets the cost of transportation, meals, teacher summer pay, space rental, and program materials for nearly 300 talented Baltimore City STEM students ages 12-18 this summer.
  • Your sponsorship will be promoted to our online community of 3,000 cherished stakeholders through our newsletter with a 98% delivery rate and 55% open rate.
  • Your sponsorship will be listed online and appear in Ingenuity’s 2026 Annual Report.

 

STEM Leadership Summit

81 rising Ingenuity Poly juniors will attend our first STEM Summer Leadership Summit at UMBC in August. Your support will fund the following:

  • Intensive workshops for juniors entering the Research Practicum, equipping them with technical writing and literature review skills to succeed in professional lab mentorships.
  • Interactive workshops on coding and emerging technology led by UMBC’s math and engineering faculty.
  • STEM Professional and Alumni Panels, helping students establish a professional network and “college-ready” confidence.
  • Team-building with classmates to foster community before they begin this important academic year.
