 Michael “Mike” Gill – Ingenuity Donor, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Alumni ’71

Celebrating the Service and Leadership of Mike Gill:

During his years at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Mike was deeply involved in athletics and a wide range of extracurricular activities. His commitment to the Poly community continued long after graduation, he served as President of the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association from 1993 to 1994 and was later inducted into the Poly Hall of Fame in recognition of his leadership and service.

After earning his degree from Princeton University, Mike launched a distinguished career in the construction industry, specializing in electrical engineering. Known for his expertise and integrity, he has remained a steadfast supporter of both Poly and The Ingenuity Project. Through generous financial contributions, dedicated volunteerism, and consistent advocacy, Mike has never hesitated to champion Poly or The Ingenuity Project in his personal life.

We are thrilled to share that National Gypsum Company has generously contributed $30,000 to Ingenuity’s Stronger Together Fall Giving Campaign, marking their third consecutive year of partnership and support.

This continued investment reflects National Gypsum’s deep commitment to empowering Baltimore City’s future leaders in STEM. Their gift directly fuels the rigorous instruction, enrichment opportunities, and holistic student support that define the Ingenuity experience.

We are proud to announce that The Ingenuity Project’s Executive Director, Lisette Morris,  has been named President of the Board of Directors for the National Consortium of STEM Schools (NCSS) for a one-year term. This appointment recognizes the visionary leadership and innovative work Ingenuity has brought to STEM education. In this role, she will help guide NCSS national strategies, share best practices, and advocate for rigorous STEM programs that prepare students for future success.

This honor celebrates Ingenuity’s leadership and the impact of our students, educators, and community on STEM education nationwide.
